Gina Tringali is a foodie, coffee connoisseur and cook at heart.

She works as a freelance food & travel writer, leads custom gastronomic tours and provides consulting services for restaurant and tour operators.

Gina writes with passion about the people, places and regional cuisine of Italy.  She travels across Italy meeting artisan food experts, wine producers and chefs.   Uncovering wine & culinary history, traditional & creative food recipes and emerging food trends is an endless adventure!

Gina holds a Master’s degree in the history of Italian Food and Gastronomy from the “Universita’ degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata”. She earned her MBA at NYU and worked in financial services in Boston, New York, and London before moving into the food and tourism industry. In 2006, she worked for the Craft family of restaurants in NYC in business development & marketing and spent some time in the kitchen before relocating to Rome in 2007.

She is currently studying at the Associazione Italiana Sommelier (AIS) to become a certified sommelier.
